Gobi Manchurian | Cauliflower Manchurian | பூ கோசு மஞ்சூரியன்


Gobi Manchurian


Ingredients :

Gobi Manchurian Ingredients

Cauliflower - 250 gm
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Oil for fry

To Marinate :

Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Red Food Colour - 1 pinch (optional)
Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Method :

  • First blanch cauliflower florets in hot water for an minute with turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp of salt, then drain the water completely and ready to use.

Steps To Make Gobi Manchurian :
  • Marinate the cauliflower with mentioned ingredients for 1/2 an hour.
  • Then heat oil in a kadai \ frying pan, parallelly mix cornflour with marinated cauliflower and deep fry them until golden brown colour and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Coconut Milk Pulao

Ur receipe is very nice. I have a doubt. To marinate the cauliflower with water or without water. How much water need to add for marinate. Pls reply

Hi, Thank U for your response. For this Gobi Manchurian recipe, water is not required to marinate since curd is used.
