Coconut Rava Laddu / Semolina Balls / Rava Ladoo / Suji Ladoo


Ingredients :


Coconut Rava Laddu / Semolina Balls / Rava Ladoo / Suji Ladoo Ingredients

Rava / Semolina - 1 cup 
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup (+ or -, boiled and cooled)
Cashew-nuts & Almond - 1/4 cup (roughly chopped)
Cardamom - 3 no (crushed or powder)
Ghee - 3 tbsp

Method :


Steps To Make Coconut Rava Laddu : (shown in above image)
  • Roast cashew- nuts and almonds with a tablespoon of ghee in a pan and keep aside.
  • Roast semolina / rava with a tablespoon of ghee in a same pan, stir well and roast until creamy golden colour. (If semolina is not roasted well means it will cause stomach pain). Keep aside with roasted nuts.
  • Again roast grated coconut with a tablespoon of ghee in a same pan, stir well and roast until creamy golden colour. Keep aside with nuts and semolina.


  • Combine all roasted ingredients with sugar and cardamom, mix well.
  • To make laddu, add milk little by little and make small ball and ready to serve. 
  • Store in a air-tight container.



Serving Suggestion : Serve with Murukku.
