Lemon Rice | Elumiccai Saadam | எலுமிச்சை சாதம்



Ingredients :

Lemon Rice | Elumiccai Saadam | எலுமிச்சை சாதம்

Lemon Juice - 2 nos
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
Dry Red Chili - 2 nos
Bengal Gram - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves - 2 stk
Gingelly Oil - 2 tbsp
Boiled Rice - 2 and 1/2 cups (+ or -)
Salt to Taste

Method :

  • Heat Oil in a Kadai, temper mustard seeds, after splutter add Urad Dal and Bengal Gram, saute til light brown colour.
  • Add remaining ingredients expect Lemon juice, mix well.
  • Remove from flame and then add Lemon juice, mix well.

  • Finally add cooked Rice, mix well and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve with hard boiled Egg or Potato chips.
